The purpose of the fuse

How can I extend a 2-pin electrical device for connecting a 2-prong plug?
I live in Australia and recently bought a receiver Yamaha AV socket and has 2 points. I also have a subwoofer that has a socket 2 points. The Yamaha gives me the ability to control the power of my Sub When you turn the receiver on and off which is great! But reading the recommended position of the speaker subwoofer in a range of speaker cable 5.1 Mid subwoofer is simply not long enough. I thought about cutting the earth in a standard extension cable, but I'm worried about security to do so. I searched for adapters, but without success. There seems to be an extension on the market does. Hell I even provided conversion of energy by using an adapter for Australia, the United States and then a U.S. AC adapter back to Australia 2 points but I do not know what the ramifications whatsoever. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You should easily be able to connect AN EXTENSION TO THE WIRE --- Be sure to buy some limits and electricians WIRE tape ... NO PROBLEM. On the other hand the urge to put the pregnant and non - not mandatory unless you are a purist of any agreement must be adapted.
